Cancellation and Refund Policy
The purpose of requiring you to make a deposit for the initial piercing fee of $100 is to ensure that you show up and get pierced. I travel from outside of the country to work, and I've found that those who have paid have a very high rate of coming in for appointments. Unfortunately, those who do not pre-pay have shown a distressing propensity for forgetfulness....
If your cancellation is last minute, so I can't refill your slot, then your deposit is forfeit (lost).
If you cancel well in advance (2 weeks or more prior to your appointment date) then you may be eligible for a full refund--less the consult fee, if I've reviewed photos.
However, depening on the extent of our correspondence I may refund 80% or less of your piercing fee, and retain the balance for work already rendered.* Or, you have the option to keep your full payment on account for a future piercing visit anywhere I'll be working. This does not have an expiration date.
In the unlikely event I am unable to be at the designated location for your appointment, your deposit can be refunded or put on account for a future date, as you prefer.
If you don't do an anatomy consultation (and tell me that you're confident that you are anatomically suited to the piercing you desire), your piercing fee will not be refundable if I find that you are not pierceable. Consultations are recommended, and the $10 cost of the consult is applied toward your piercing fee, but it is not refundable.
Note that fees paid for completed consultations are non-refundable.
*The retained funds serve as compensation for my expertise and the time I spend corresponding with you to answer all of your questions, possibly evaluate photos of your anatomy, to set up and confirm your appointment, and then to make a refund.
Thank you for your understanding! I look forward to piercing you soon.
