I received this message from a reader in Malta!

Hi, my name is B. and I'm from Malta, since I've bought your book you have become my idol. I love piercings, something that you don't find very often in Malta due to a bad reputations, originating from piercees who haven't had a good piercing  and weren't instructed properly on aftercare, this is because in Malta we do not have any real piercers, the ones we have are tattoo artists who took up piercing just for financial income.

I would really like to be a piercer one day, I've only had an apprenticeship from my girlfriend which is from Germany, right now I'm not able to go abroad to atend any courses or conventions due to financial difficulties as I'm using my salary to buy the necessary needs for a piercing studio.

I would really like to read a book wrote by you targeting piercers rather then piercees.
Kind Regards, B.

HI B,
Thanks so much for your message. I am glad to hear that you were able to get my book there to help educate you about piercing.

It was difficult enough to get a book published that addresses all people with an interest in, or a need to know anything about, body piercing. Therefore, I wouldn't anticipate a book with a narrower or more specific market could get published, but I appreciate the feedback.

Something that could be helpful to piercers and aspiring piercers are my videos. If you'd like to see me performing piercings, and demonstrating exactly where they should be placed and how quickly and easily an expert can perform them, I've got videos available here. (They're not "how-to" videos, per se, but they do show a lot of useful and practical information!) They are hosted on a different website due to their "adult" content--primarily they are genital piercings, including VCH piercing, triangle piercing, clitoris piercing, frenum piercing, Prince Albert piercing, apadravya piercing, ampallang piercing, and more--but there are also videos of navel piercing, nostril piercing, nipple piercing, and so on.

Oh one more idea: there are free archives available of all the columns I've written for Pain Magazine (answering piercing questions) are here:http://www.painmag.com/archives.php
My article is almost always on page 16.

I wish you the best of luck on your journey.
