A client who is interested in getting some male genital piercings posed the question to me:

I'm very interested in genital piercings. Can  you tell me if this is too much to begin with?

the pubic,
frenum ladder,
dydoe, and
guiche

is that too much?

My big question is, "which gives most pleasure to my female partner?"

Thanks Elayne!

I definitely have an opinion on the matter and I shared it with him:

Hi John,

Yes, that's definitely too much to begin with. If you get too many piercings at once it is too big a drain on your body's resources, and they may all heal more slowly, or you could be more susceptible to complications. If you're in good health, and committed to taking good care of your piercings, I'd say 4 is a good maximum for one session. I would not suggest getting any more until you're well healed from the first round.

Nobody can tell you which piercing(s) your partner will enjoy most, because there are such individual differences in sensitivity levels and personal preferences for stimulation (some women like clitoral stimulation, and others find it painful or unpleasant, for example). There's also the matter of size match between partners, and that can affect what sensation is received from body jewelry. The guiche would be for your pleasure, and the others may have a stimulating effect on your partner. If she prefers clitoral stimulation, then the pubic piercing is best. If she likes g-spot stimulation then an apadravya would please her most.

I'd discuss them with your wife, and see which piercings appeal to her too (and seems like it would feel good).

Also, if you've only seen my webpage and not my book, you only have a bare fraction of the information I have to offer that could help you.

My book, The Piercing Bible--The Definitive Guide to Safe Body Piercing contains a great deal of information for everyone interested in piercing and the detail in there could be helpful in guiding you to make good decisions on piercings and jewelry. I'd recommend chapter--13 Below the Belt: Female and Male Genital Piercings. I cover each of the male piercings in depth and explain the type of stimulation both wearer and partner can expect.

After reading The Piercing Bible you will be extremely well educated about the subject, and in fact, you'll have a lot more information than some "professional" piercers who are practicing in the field!

Orders are being filled by the Association of Professional Piercers: http://www.safepiercing.org/publications/the-piercing-bible/ Use the "Add to Cart" button at the bottom of the page and follow then go to checkout.

Or call toll free: 888 888-1APP or email: info @ safepiercing.org. I serve on the Board of Directors as Medical Liaison. A portion of the proceeds from the book goes to the organization, and you will received a signed copy of my book.

Alternatively, you can get it from major booksellers, or Amazon.com.

Let me know if you have other questions. I'm always happy to give you my opinion.

Sincerely,
Elayne
