I received a message from a woman who had visited this site and she thought there was something not quite right with her VCH piercing:
I just got a vch piercing. While it seems to sit right I am concerned it is a bit too shallow.
I have attached some pictures, would you advice having it taken out/redone later? Is there any way gauging up would help? (it is a small diameter at the moment.)
My reply:
The piercing is quite far away from the apex of your hood. If you would like to have a piercing that is further from the edge of your hood (where the VCH is optimally placed) then you should remove this jewelry and have it done by a different piercer.
If you're happy with it, you can heal it, but I would NOT advise stretching, since it is shallower the it should be (closer to the edge of your hood). Though what you're wearing looks unusually small from what I can see--or at least it doesn't look proportionate to your anatomy.
