"One Amazing Experience" (VCH, Triangle, and Nostril Piercings)

On my guestbook I just received this AMAZING post from a woman I pierced when I was at 23rd Street Body Piercing in OKC recently:

Thank you Elayne for making the trek to Oklahoma City! Thankfully I stumbled upon your "Piercing Bible" website when I began my research on female geintal piercings! Ordered my copy, read it cover to cover (more than once!) and estatically discovered you were making a stop in OKC, just 2 short hours from where I live!!

The 3 months I eagerly waited from the time I contacted you until the actual date of our fateful appointment were spent carefully combing thru your "bible" in preparation for my piercings.

Thank you so very much for putting me at such great ease! From the moment I met you, I felt as if I had known you forever and a day! Had it not been for the fleeting, split second pinch from each piercing, I wold dare say I had just made an appointment to hang out and visit with a dear friend! I was completely at ease through the entire process, thanks in part to knowing I was completely prepared and because of you!

One amazing experience, 45 minutes, 3 piercings and 1 hug later, I walked out of the 23rd Street shop feeling as if I could do anything! So very grateful for the opportunity to meet you and your husband and for the opportunity to be pierced by THE expert in female genital piercings! After all, you wrote the book on it!

Irritated Apadravya Piercing

I received this message today:

Irritated ApadravyaHello Elayne, I was recently cleaning my apadravya and noticed that I have what looks like a tear or some sort of injury on the head of my penis. My piercing is fairly new, I believe it is 4 months old. I don't know if this is simply because it's still fresh or if I have something more serious to deal with. I have been sexually active but I haven't done anything rough or overexerting. I have worn protection and I haven't had any pain during sex. I have included a picture of the wound. It doesn't hurt, but it is (VERY SLIGHTLY) more tender to the touch than the rest of my penis. If you could respond to this ASAP then I would greatly appreciate it. This has been worrying me a lot. Thank you very much.

About the Prince Albert Piercing

I received an inquiry:

I want a Prince Albert piercing but having second thoughts about it. Please tell me the pros and cons of this piercing. K.

OB/GYN Appointments Following Genital Piercing

I received this message from a woman I pierced:

Hi Elayne, first off I would like to say thank you again for my VCH piercing I love it! I got the piercing 2/18 and I am due to make an OBGYN appointment soon I was wondering if I have to wait until the 4-6 weeks is up or if it would be ok to make the appointment a little earlier than that? Thanks again, A.

My reply:

Hi A.,

Just so long as you're clear on the need to leave in your jewelry to preserve your piercing, and you feel confident that your practitioner follows appropriate hygienic precautions (hand washing followed by proper application of gloves), it should be fine to have your appointment any time.

Unfortunately, I frequently find that medical professionals are lax in their practices in ways that could put your healing piercing at risk. For example, I commonly see doctors and nurses who fail to wash their hands and then grab a glove from the box and/handle it by the exterior of the glove fingertips (thereby contaminating the glove). Just something to watch out for regarding your health and well being--regardless of whether you have a healing piercing!

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Sincerely,
Elayne

The VCH and Triangle Piercings: "Sex Enhancement Implants"

I got this fantastic guestbook posting from a woman I pierced recently. If you'd like to leave a message in the guestbook , the form is all the way at the bottom of that page.

As a relative stranger to the tattoo and piercing crowd, it was so intimidating to even consider a female piercing for the pleasure benefits.  Every bit of research and referral pointed to Elayne as the absolute best piercer, so I made the appt and travelled to see her in CA.

Elayne made the whole experience comfortable and easy.  I was a good candidate for both a VCH and a triangle so I had both done.  It's been a couple weeks now and I absolutely LOVE the piercings.  The results are absolutely fabulous - truly sex enhancement implants!  My husband was a tad disinterested when I wanted the piercings, but now he's a huge fan and loves the results.  I highly recommend the piercings to anyone with suitable anatomy!

I cannot give higher praise or recommendation to Elayne.  She was informative and professional and pleasantly personal all at the same time.  For such an intimate proceedure, it was simple and the pain was minimal (having had my ears pierced years ago with a gun was far more painful).  A better experience could not be asked for or attained.

Triangle Piercing Questions

I received this message from a woman who had questions about triangle piercings:

Hello,
I've always wanted a triangle piercing, I had one once, but the jewelry fell out after just 3 days while I was asleep and of course I couldn't get it back in. I have type 1 diabeties, and was wondering if I should just give up the idea. I do heal more slowly now than before my disease.
It's just orgasms for me are so difficult. Plus I really like the ornamentation. I guess I'm asking about the potential ramifications. Healing times, risks, etc.
Thanks, M.

My response:
M.,

It depends on your individual circumstances. If you have a hard time healing other wounds, then piercing (anywhere on the body) may be inadvisable. Is your diabetes controlled through diet or are you insulin dependent? If the latter, then perhaps piercing should be avoided. Ordinarily a triangle takes 2-3 months to heal, but certainly could take longer in your case. It could be harder for your body to fight off infection and if you got one it could be more severe and harder to resolve.

You may want to discuss the matter with a piercing-friendly doctor to get his or her opinion. He or she will have a better idea of your medical condition and whether piercing is contraindicated.

Have you tried a Hitachi wand or an eroscillator? Those are types of vibrators many women find helpful in their quest for orgasms.

Best of luck,
Elayne
