Yet Another (Different) Shallow Hood Piercing (VCH Piercing--with Photo)

I am so sorry to keep bugging you, but I'm very disappointed. After being curioAnother Shallow VCH Piercing (Marked)us as to why I wasn't receiving much clitoral stimulation from my piercing, I did a little more exploring of the area. I do think that this guy placed the bottom of the piercing a bit too far from the apex of my clitoral hood. I know I sound like a scrooge, but I didn't spend my hard earned money on a piercing that's only going to look pretty and not function as it should.

You can imagine how pissed off I am right now. I have attached a picture exposing the underside of my hood. Please give me your opinion. If you concur, I have a couple of questions for you.

Do you think I should abandon the piercing, or would simply changing the jewelry to a j-curve solve the issue? If I abandon the piercing, how long should I wait before getting re-pierced properly? Finally, can you recommend any piercers in California? (Preferably in the southern California or inland empire areas.) Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you so much. Xoxo <3 A.

Hi A.,

Yeah, that's WAY off the mark. I would abandon it, and I'd suggest you wait 2 weeks or so before repiercing. If the tissue is pliable and not hard or inflexible, and there's no discomfort, you should be ready to repierce.  The correct placement is quite a distance from where your piercing was placed. I do think it would be reasonable to request a refund (and you can give them their jewelry back...).

If you'd like, I can pierce you myself! I'll be working in LA later this month. Information is here and attached flier: http://piercingbible.com/event/2011/07/elayne-angel-piercing-los-angeles...

Let me know ASAP as I'm almost booked up. If you don't want to have me do it, I have referrals here; http://piercingbible.com/piercer-referrals

Sincerely,

Elayne

It looks like the piercing isn't placed high enough on the hood itself. It's supposed to be almost as far back as the hood will go.
